Bidadi farmers' struggle; H.D. Kumaraswamy attacks DCM DK SHIVAKUMAR

Ramanagar/New Delhi: Union minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, who lashed out at DCM DK Shivakumar for falsely campaigning that Bidadi Township is the offspring of Deve Gowda's son, thundered that he would not let even an inch of farmers' land be snatched for Bidadi Township.

The Union minister spoke via video conference from New Delhi, addressing the massive protest held by farmers in Bidadi area on Sunday against the township.

I have come to the notice of a person who is looting the land of the poor and farmers, who is talking lightly about me. I have made a living as a farmer in a guesthouse. He lashed out at DK, saying that no school, college, high-rise buildings and forts have been built on the land of the poor that he looted.

Kumaraswamy, who was born to oppress and seize the land of the poor and the weak, brought to the attention of the farmers with some examples and real incidents.

HDK who was born to oppress DK:

A person named Krishnamurthy from Billekempanahalli village had taken a loan from Karnataka Finance Corporation (KFC) and built a hotel on the Bangalore-Mysore main road. The Union Minister made serious allegations against DCM DK, saying that he had vacated that land by oppression, bought the same land again at a low price and built a school building there.

Another person was named Ramaswamy. He had served the Indian Army. He had bought some land with his hard-earned money and made a living. DKshi had a bad eye on that land. He had threatened him to give up that land. He did not give it up. Finally, he kidnapped the soldier's daughter and took over that land. Have we done such a vile thing? Kumaraswamy questioned.

There is a nice road around Bangalore. DKshi has also grabbed land acquired from the public around Hosakerehalli. In addition, this same Shivakumar was a minister when S.M. Krishna was the Chief Minister earlier. He acquired a large amount of land to build.

They have donated Rs. 5 lakh to one of the holy rivers of India, the Cauvery Aarti.

She has expressed in social media that,

I am from Bangalore, spent my childhood drinking Cauvery water, completed my engineering degree and settled in America. I am emotional after watching the historic "Cauvery Aarti" program that has started at KRS Brindavan since September 26 in the media and social media.

Even though we are living in America, we have grown up drinking Cauvery water. Mother Cauvery quenches the thirst of crores of people and is a support for the lives of farmers. She is an integral part of life. The people of Kannada Nadu cannot forget Cauvery. Congratulations on behalf of all non-resident Kannadigas for this work of the Karnataka government, which has written a preface to the work of paying homage and bowing to such a life, she said.

We are happy about the worship method and program of "Kaveri Aarti". This work of the Karnataka government is commendable. This work should be done continuously in the history of the state, she said.

It is everyone's primary duty and responsibility to pay homage and worship to Mother Cauvery. God is nature. That form of nature is Kaveri. Worshiping Kaveri will bring good fortune not only to mankind but also to all living beings. Therefore, Kaveri Aarti should not be limited to Dussehra alone but should be celebrated throughout the year. The Kaveri Aarti program is ritualistic. This is a pious work. I will offer prayers to Mother Cauvery when I come to Karnataka in the coming days, she said.

Knows how to empower farmers and knows how to break their thighs

He said that 80 percent of farmers will not give land, and for what purpose are the officials oppressing and abusing farmers on a daily basis. The state's Deputy Chief Minister has slapped his thigh against the farmers. He is unaware of the strength of the farmers. He thundered that he knows how to empower farmers and knows how to break their thighs.

Our struggle will not stop

Also, our struggle will not stop until this project is abandoned, condemning the injustice being done to the farmers. He reassured the farmers that we will stand as the voice of the farmers until the last moment.

JDS is the party of farmers. We will not allow injustice to be done to the farmers for any reason. For what purpose are farmers being oppressed and land snatched without considering the pros and cons of this project?

Is it to run a real estate mafia? He scolded DCM DK.

Have you ordered not to sell farmers' land? What should be done for the lives of their children? Did you conduct a social survey when farmers come to the streets? There are four Congress MLAs in the district. Did you talk to farmers from 10 villages? The government was questioned.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Shri Kumaranna spoke to the farmers through a virtual meeting and said that farmers should not be discouraged for any reason, I will support your struggle. He assured.
